A Week Left To Recharge

Finished my second clothing item today - a vest. It's not something I'd dare to wear out on any normal occasion ...haha, who knows.

Inspired by a mix of influences (17th century / military / etc)...like a 'rojak' heheheh.


I love the buttons ;P



Kinda looks like a cross between a bathrobe & a taekwondo outfit right -_-







With velvet strips on the inside, hiak hiak hiak.




I'm contemplating to put aside the sewing/pattern-making course I was gonna take up due to financial and time constraints, hmm. Really should concentrate on my objects+environments design before diving into fashion...I'll just take it slowly on my own.

*A small gift from my previous HK trip. Can't wait for my year-end hols!

It All Flew By Too Fast

Last week, I saw the longest rainbow ever.






A trip to regional New South Wales. Fresh air, beautiful colours, slow slow pace.

Qui qu'a vu Coco

Went to Bronte Beach last weekend. It was a beautiful sunny day for winter. Good enough reason to have an ice cream, haha.

One of my recent home-cooked dinners - vege + potato Japanese curry. Easy to make and yummy!




Went to watch Coco Avant Chanel this afternoon at Dendy @ Circular Quay. The session before and my session were quite full! No wonder, because the movie was great! So great that I wouldn't mind watching it again (and I'm not someone who likes to rewatch movies haha). Those of you who haven't done so, go watch it! :)

Yeay! Finally finished the dropcrotch pants I was working on these two nights! This time using a proper sewing machine, wahahaha. More stuff to come!

Dinner with SK & YF at Redoak Boutique Beer Cafe last Friday night.

My crispy-skinned chicken breast with lentils, salsa verde and lamb & zucchini roll.



YF's lamb sausage with mash potatoes and onion rings.



SK's ocean trout with fennel.



We had the dessert tasting plate consisting of panna cotta, poached pear, passionfruit tart, and flourless choc cake, with accompanying beers.




Failed attempt at camwhoring, hahahah!

Ok, MUST go out now and stop being a pig at home.

Need To Get Out More

Since it's the winter holidays (& an easy-to-get-fat season) and I've got more time on my hands, I decided to make a healthier meal. Sushi rice with egg, green beans, bok choy, oyster mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, nori, and ocean trout. *yummerz*
